Hewlett-Packard (HP) just announced their three new EliteBook w-series mobile notebooks, called 17.3-inch HP EliteBook 8760w, 15.6-inch HP EliteBook 8560w and 14.0-inch HP EliteBook 8460w Laptop. All of new EliteBook laptops made for power-computing, engineering and content-creation customers who need powerfull, portability and convenience of a laptop. Hp plan to release EliteBook 8760w, EliteBook 8560w and EliteBook 8460w mobile workstations notebook in the United States in May 2011 with starting price at $1,899 (HP 8760w), $1,349 (HP 8560w) and $1,299 (HP 8460w) respectively.
Design and Features
The new HP Notebooks design inspired by HP DuraCase in precision aluminum-alloy hinges with a radial-brushed display cover in a new gunmetal color, backlit jewel logo and cast titanium-alloy display latches for enhanced durability with MIL STD 810G tested for drop, vibration, high temperature, dust, altitude for maximum reliability and with the environment in mind.
HP EliteBook 8760w, HP EliteBook 8560w and HP EliteBook 8460w comes with high peformance and multimedia features like second-generation Intel Core i & multi-core processors with vPro compatibility, up to four SODIMMS and professional graphics with HP DreamColor technology, HP Mobile Display Assistant and optional HP Advanced Profiling Solution for consistent color appearance from concept, to design, to production and to ensure predictable color.
This notebooks also comes with HP QuickWeb 3, HP Power Assistant, HP QuickLook 3, HP Connection Manager, HP ProtectTools, Stereo Speaker SRS Premium Sound provides optimized audio settings for voice and multimedia applications for delivers an audio experience for users listening to media rich content, digital content creators or presenting multimedia and support for 5 monitors requires separately purchased HP Advanced Docking Station.

Dimensions on the EliteBook 8760w are 397.5 x 285.5 x 36.5 mm with weight 7.8 lb (3.57 kg), the EliteBook 8560w measures in 15 x 10.1 x 1.36 inch with weight at 6.69 lb (Starting at 3 kg), while the EliteBook 8740w laptop measures in 33.8 x 23.13 x 3.18 cm with starting at 4.9 lb (Starting at 2.22 kg).
