T-Mobile has unveiled their up coming Android smartphone, namely HTC Amaze 4G. HTC Amaze 4G aka HTC Ruby expected will be release at T-Mobile retail stores and select dealers nationwide on October 10, 2011 with starting price at $259.99 with a new two-year agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate on qualifying plan.
Under the hood, the T-Mobile HTC Amaze 4 G packs a a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor with a 1.5GHz dual-core cpu, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, a 1730 mAh lithium-ion battery and running on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS with support HTC Sense UI 3.5. It’s sporting a 4.3-inch qHD super LCD display with 540 x 960 resolution, Light sensor, Proximity Sensor, Accelerometer, Digital compass and support microSD slot to expand storage up to 32GB.
The Amaze 4G Android smartphone works on GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 with UMTS 1700/2100, 2100 and support T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network with theoretical peak download speeds of 42 Mbps, so you can easily stream video online or download thousands of your favorite TV episodes and movies with HTC Watch, T-Mobile Games or T-Mobile TV (TV shows, sports and news).
HTC Amaze 4G comes with full multimedia and entertainment features, such FM radio, Dual microphones, support Near Field Communications, SRS virtual surround sound wired for headphones and dual camera with 2 megapixel front camera and 8 megapixel rear camera with auto focus, flash, backside illuminated sensor for low-light performance, capable to record 1080p video, two dedicated buttons to take the picture, shoot videos or upload to network sites and 5 advanced camera features, includes PerfectPics, ClearShot HDR, BurstShot, SweepShot and SmartShot to capturing five photos and creates the best shot using clear faces with smiles and no blinking.
T-Mobile Amaze 4G also pre loaded with Google Mobile Service (Gmail, GPlaces, GMaps, GSearch, YouTube), integrated with Facebook, Twitter, Friendstream and access to Android amrekt for download thousand of applications.
