Samsung has announced a latest 10.1-inch netbooks, Samsung N210. Like the majority of the new netbooks this year it uses the new 10.1-inch netbooks processor. The Pine Trail platform from Intel (Intel Atom N450 processor) has been employed to drive both devices. This Intel processor provides longer battery lives, due to the lower power consumption. These netbooks promise almost 11 hours of runtime lives between charges. The N210 has a 6-cell 5900 mAh battery which has a claimed battery life of 11.2 hours of power to keep you running all day long. And an energy efficient LED display and optimized processing technology adds to its long-lasting performance.

The SAMSUNG N210 boasts a 10.1” (1024 x 600 pixel (WSVGA)) anti-reflective display which reduces bothersome light reflections. You’ll see movies and images that are clear and picture perfect, even in bright light. And you’ll get more mobility with an LED display that uses less power. Samsung have also included a tool called “Easy Resolution Manager” which allows you easily select a higher 1024 x 700 resolution. In Windows you can set it to 1152 x 864 for extra screen space, but you will loose detail and clarity as it’s not the LCD’s native resolution.

This allows you to pinch zoom with two fingers, swipe with three to go forward and back while browsing, and scroll vertically and horizontally with two fingers. The touchpad uses a single rocker type button, while it’s a little slim it works very well.
Toshiba has launched new laptop called Toshiba Satellite E205-S1904. It is first laptop to include Intel’s innovative Wireless Display Technology, or Wi-Di, that supports Intel Wireless Display and wirelessly project multimedia to your HDTV with great image clarity and sound. Wi-Di facilitates the transmission of laptop’s video signal to any TV with the help of a small Netgear box.
The technology is embedded into the E205-S1904, creating a bridge between the Wi-Fi chip and the integrated graphics chipset so that there’s no need to attach a separate USB dongle. A feather-touch button launches an Intel application that automatically connects the E205 to an external display.

The Toshiba Satellite E205-S1904 configured with a 2.27GHz Core i5-430M, offering some performance upgrades and power-management advantages. This Toshiba Notebook has 14” LED screen which has the resolution of 1,366×768 pixels; it is a standard for main stream HD laptops. It offers standard 16:9 aspect ratio. the screen looked great when playing DVDs or streaming Hulu videos, although the glossy screen offered up a considerable amount of glare in an office environment. The screen is backed with good backlighting and stunning resolution, it looks just awesome. The concern is its speakers. The satellite E205-S1904 doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity, which is a biggest loss. But this loss is covered up with the very high speed a USB sleep-and-charge port and a high-speed. It also included with 4GB DDR3 RAM (1066MHz) and it can be extendible up to 8GB. Performance and speed are not a concern here. It offers hard disk storage capacity of whopping 500GB. It supports Webcam, Intel® Wireless LAN (802.11a/g/n) and Ethernet LAN.

This Toshiba E205 Notebook adopts a totally new look with a dark blue plastic finish (called Fusion Finish in metallic blue), rounded edges, and a slot-loading DVD drive. The laptop feels more plasticky and slightly. The E205 looks thin, but a lot of that is a visual effect produced by the extremely tapered edges along the sides and front. Still, the Satellite E205 is thinner than many full-size laptops at only 1.2 inches.
The E205-S1904 has a traditional full-size keyboard, has a backlit keyboard, which is extremely handy to have in dark-lit areas. A wide touchpad and huge mouse buttons make the navigating experience an enjoyable one, too. Though the keyboard appears to be little flat, it is much more convenient and comfortable to type on. The rigid clicking buttons underneath are larger than the multitouch touch pad. The left side sports an audio input, as well as USB port. On the right side, a flash-card reader, wireless switch, USB/eSATA, HDMI connectors and USB are provided. The back panel holds a 10/100Mbps Ethernet port, the power jack and a VGA output.

The Satellite E205-S1904’s battery includes 6 cells. Since the inclusion of Intel Core i5 processor, power consumption is low when compare to the other laptops. It offers decent battery life of 4 hours and 46 minutes. The Toshiba Satellite E205-S1904 has a cluster of cool technology that you can get for a reasonable price. Though it’s a Best Buy-only configuration for now, it comes with a backlit keyboard, Slim design and a Core i5 processor—features that should be on your laptop wish list. Intel’s Wireless Display, meanwhile, is easily one of the hottest technologies this year.
