Recently Asus has announced new notebook, namely Asus K73 series. The 17,3 inch K73 series will be release in two models, ASUS K73SV and ASUS K73E. Both of new Asus K73 laptop is designed with colored aluminum covers featuring a textured finish with palmrest color choices in black and silver and based on on Huron River-based 2nd generation mobile Intel Core processors to provide both power and style at an attractive price.
The K73SV laptop and K73E notebook has similars specifications and features, the diffence is only the Graphic card. ASUS K73SV is offer NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M with 1Gb/2GB DDR3 VRAM and NVIDIA Optimus technology while ASUS K73E is offer Integrated Intel GMA HD. All of them is powered by up to Intel® Core i7 2630QM, 17.3 inch 16:9 LED backlit HD+ display with 1600×900 pixels, up to 8GB DDR3 memory, up to 750GB for disk drive, 0.3 Mega Pixel Fixed web camera, Super-Multi DVD or Blu-Ray DVD Combo and runs on Genuine Windows 7 Home Basic/Premium/Profesional/Ultimate.
Asus K73 laptop also equipped with 3 -in-1 card reader (SD/MS/MMC), Built-in Altec Lansing Speakers and Microphone, a chiclet-style keyboard, Multi-touch touchpad, four USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port, Bluetooth V2.1+EDR, 10/100/1000 Ethernet, WiFi, 6 Cells battery and preloaded with BIOS Booting User Password Protection and HDD User Password Protection and Security. Dimensions of the machine are 42.0 x 28.0 x 3.68 cm with weight 3.20 kg.
New 17 inch Asus K73 series laptops has features Palm Proof technology with Intuitive Multi-touch touchpad to prevents accidental input and IceCool Technology to keeps the palm rests cool even during the longest computing sessions with combined heat pipes and vents.
