Acer has quietly unveiled a new notebook based on Intel Calpella mobile platform named Acer Aspire 1430 laptop. Aspire 1430 notebook is a classic ultra-compact notebook with a 100% full-size keyboard for more accurate and comfortable typing. Acer Aspire 1430 features multi-gesture touchpad for mouse-less, fingertip convenience, supporting two-finger scrol and Internet-centric applications to keep you ready for anything while on the go.
Acer Aspire 1430 is powered by an Intel Core i5-520UM Mobile Processor 1.066 GHz, Intel Core i3-330UM, i5-430UM, or i5-540UM processor, a 11.6-inch LED-backlit display with resolution of 1024 x 600 or 1366 x 768 pixel, integrated Intel GMA 4500M HD, Mobile Intel HM55 Express chipset, 320GB SATA hard drive, 4GB of DDR3 memory, a Crystal Eye webcam, and preloaded with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
Aspire 1430 notebook also boasts three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port with HDCP supporta multi-in-1 card reader, D-Sub display outputs, VGA port, Built-in microphone, and a 6-cell 4400mAh battery providing up to 6 hours of use. For connectivity, the machine offers 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR or Bluetooth 3.0+HS and upgradable to 7.2 Mb/s HSDPA and 5.7 Mb/s HSUPA (for 3G model). The Aspire 1430 laptops also support UMTS/HSPA at 850/900/1900/2100 MHz and quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE at 850/900/1800/1900 MHz.
The Acer Aspire 1430 also packs with Acer Backup Manager, Acer ePower and eRecovery Management, Adobe Flash Player 10 and adobe reader, and Microsoft Works. Dimensions of Aspire 1430 are 285 (W) x 204 (D) x 28 (H) mm with weights only 1.4 kg. There is no words about release date or princing for this laptop.
